What a Motorcycle what a ride,
when I first jumped on board the Triple R the first thing that I
noticed was the acceleration and power, you automatically feel
you about to experience something pretty special, open the
throttle just slightly and you're away open it aggressively and
you'll lift the front wheel no problems at all, mind you I don't
recommend doing that sort of thing until the bikes well and
truly run in. The throttle does take a bit of getting use too
though especially at low speeds on things like roundabouts where
you basically need to drag the back brake to negotiate them but
having said that this it does improve with time on the bike. The
engine itself is first class and the torque at low speeds is
especially good I have no problem accelerating from 40kmph in
4th gear so riding in heavy traffic is a breeze ,the brakes are
more than adequate to stop the bike when needed in the most
trickiest situations as is the suspension which is fully
adjustable. Instrumentation and the finish on the bike is first
class but you expect that from triumph anyway. In closing I can
only recommend you go and give one a test ride yourself too see
just how good this bike really is, do yourself a favor.
